Team ARMSRx, including both Jennifer and Jeff, will participate in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon on July 10, 2010 held at the Northwest Beach of Lake Nokomia near the city of Minneapolis, MN.
"The majority of the reasons associated with the increasing drug utilization and medical costs for employers are associated with lifestyle choices," comments Jeff, a vegetarian for 14 years.
Jennifer adds that "people are inundated with information about their disease states and reasons they have to take certain prescription drugs to maintain a healthy blood sugar count, cholesterol count, blood pressure and so on." Statistically, the results show that some people believe it is easier to take a pill than to change one or two things daily in order to live a healthier life style. "People can receive all the information in world and read it, but true understanding and action is necessary for results," says Jennifer.
